Egypt says it’s preparing Gaza plan without displacement

President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi confirmed on February 16th that his country is preparing a “comprehensive” plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip without displacing Palestinians, reported Anadolu Ajansi.

The confirmation came while Sisi’s was meeting in Cairo with Ronald Lauder, head of the World Jewish Congress.

Sisi emphasized the importance of “beginning the reconstruction of Gaza and ensuring that its residents are not displaced from their land,” a statement said.
