Morocco’s measles cases decrease

On March 5th, Morocco’s health ministry announced a steady drop in the numbers of new measles cases over a 5 week period.

According to Morocco World News, the ministry is extending its vaccination campaign until March 28th.

The health ministry said: “This notable improvement is the result of the great efforts made by healthcare professionals in all regions of the Kingdom, effective coordination among all stakeholders, and increased citizen participation in catch-up vaccination campaigns, as part of the national vaccination status verification campaign.”
