War slows trade between DR Congo and Burundi

The conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo has caused a sharp decline in trade between Congo and Burundi.
According to AfricaNews, clashes between the M23 rebels and the Congolese authorities have caused both transportation and trade to decrease, as roads have become disused.
As well as this, Congo’s border closures have contributed to trading difficulties.
