Peace talks between rebels and DR Congo to be held in Angola

Peace talks are set to be held directly between the DR Congolese government and the M23 rebel faction for the first time since the conflict began between the two sides.
According to France24, the talks are scheduled to begin on March 18 in the Angolan capital, Luanda
Commenting on the upcoming negotiations, rebel leader Bertrand Bisimwa emphasized their importance ,stating that they were ” the only civilised option to resolve the current crisis”
