Locusts from Libya are beginning to travel into Tunisia, due to Libya currently experiencing a rainy season.

According to The North Africa Post on March 17th, Desert locusts have been found south in the region of Tataouine.

A small swarm of the insects can consume the same amount of food in a day as 35,000 people.
