Trump tariffs threaten to destabilize Ivory coasts cocoa industry

Great concern has been raised among cocoa farmers in the Ivory Coast over fears that Trump’s tariffs could destabilize the country’s cocoa industry.
According to the Associated Press, the Trump administration has threatened to impose a 21% tariff on all goods and products from the Ivory Coast, making it the highest among West African nations.
The Ivory Coast is the world’s largest producer of cocoa, accounting for nearly half of the global supply.
