Israel warns the UK and France against recognising Palestine
Israel’s Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer has warned the UK and France that Israel may seize more territory across the West Bank were they to recognise the state of Palestine according to The New Arab and Agencies on May 26th.
Dermer warned that the government could seek to legalise settler compounds across the West Bank.
The UK and France have held discussions intimating that the two nations are ready to recognise the state of Palestine in June 2025.
