Egypt condemns Israeli strikes on Iran

Egypt has issued a strong rebuke following Israeli military strikes on Iran in the early hours of June 13, labeling the move a severe provocation with potentially destabilising consequences for the wider region, according to Egypt Independent.

In a formal statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cairo denounced the attacks as a dangerous escalation and a clear breach of international law and the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter. 

Highlighting growing alarm over the rapidly evolving situation, Egypt described the offensive as unjustified and cautioned that further aggression could spark a broader conflict.
