A nuclear bomb on Gaza would also reach Israel, lawmaker warns

A US Republican congressman has warned that if a nuclear bomb was to target Gaza the fallout from the explosion would hit Israel and Israeli captives would also die, Middle East Eye via CNN reported on June 17th.

The congressman, Randy Fine, condemned the idea of nuking Gaza on the basis of the devastation it would cause Israel, during an interview with CNN on June 16th.

Fine, who is a staunch Zionist, said: “Nuking Gaza would be a terrible idea—the fallout would drift into Israel.” The congressman added: “It would kill the hostages.”
