Wounded Libyan soldiers sent to Russia for medical care

A new group of wounded Libyan National Army (LNA) soldiers has been dispatched to Russia for medical care, following direct orders from Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

According to Libya Review, the transfer, coordinated by Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, is part of a continuous medical support program for injured troops.

The LNA emphasised that the initiative reflects its commitment to providing top-tier medical treatment for soldiers wounded in the ongoing conflict.

This latest transfer underscores the strategic military and humanitarian ties between Libya and Russia, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by the country’s military forces.
