Gaza convoy reports mistreatment in eastern Libya

A convoy travelling to Gaza that has crossed North Africa has reported experiencing mistreatment as the hands of the authorities in eastern Libya according to Middle East Eye on June 16th.

The “Sumud convoy” has claimed that they had faced a blockade from the Haftar forces, a faction of the eastern-Libyan army led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

In a statement the convoy accused the authorities of blocking the convoy’s from continuing on and preventing basic amenities reaching its members.
