Russia reportedly using Libyan airbase as arms hub

Russia has reportedly used a Libyan airbase located just east of Benghazi as a regional base in North Africa from which it can transfer arms, according to anti-eastern Libya biased outlet Libya Observer citing Radio France Internationale (RFI) on June 23rd.
An RFI investigation reported activity from Russian aircraft at the Al-Khadim airbase in eastern Libya.
The actions support the growing belief that Russia is pivoting from using Syria to using Libya as a base of influence in the MENA region.
