A total of 62% of Israelis want their country to reach a deal with Hamas to free hostages held in Gaza and to halt the war on the territory, a poll has revealed, Middle East Eye reported on June 25th.

The poll came from Walla, which is a media organisation owned by the Jerusalem Post. Previously, the BBC reported on May 21st that 61% of Israelis want the Gaza conflict to end and for captives to be freed, according to a poll from Israel’s Channel 12.
