Death toll of Palestinians seeking aid is at least 549

The death toll of Palestinians seeking aid from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’s (GHF) distribution centres is at least 549, since the centres opened four weeks ago, Middle East Eye reported on June 26th.

According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, civilians in Gaza are being “lured” into the distribution centres and are then routinely and intentionally attacked on a day-to-day basis.

The office also said that 39 people who were searching for aid in Gaza are missing. It added: “The occupation is using food as a weapon of mass killing, turning what it claims to be ‘aid’ into a tool of extermination and domination.”
