An air strike from Israel which targeted a Gaza City beach cafe caused the deaths of at least 33 Palestinians, and injured roughly 50 other people, Middle East Eye via Wafa news agency and Quds Network reported on June 30th.

Quds Network disseminated images and footage online which showed emergency units taking bodies out of the cafe and searching through the rubble.

The media office of Gaza’s government said that the Palestinian photojournalist, Ismail Abu Hatab, was one of the people killed in the air strike. Reportedly, Hatab had worked for several media organisations.
