Israeli fighter jets launch massive attack on Gaza City

Israeli fighter jets have launched a massive attack on Gaza City’s east, as the war on the enclave continues, Middle East Eye via Al Jazeera reported on July 9th.

Al Jazeera reporter Hani Mahmoud said that a “carpet bombing” attack is happening in the city. Mahmoud said the bombardment appears to be a “targeted killing by Israel” and that roughly 20 bombs were dropped by Israel.

Mahmoud said he could hear several major explosions and he added that the building he was in was “shaking.” The journalist said a whole street “was hit by these bombs.”
