Eight children killed near Gaza clinic following Israeli strike

Eight children were killed on July 10th following an Israeli strike, as they waited for nutritional supplements outside a Gaza health clinic, according to the territory’s civil defence agency, Al-Monitor via AFP reported.
The agency said that the children were among 17 victims of the Deir el-Balah strike. The UN children’s agency, UNICEF, has stated that the fatalities included a one-year-old boy, whose mother suffered severe injuries.
Catherine Russell, the UN agency’s executive director said: “No parent should have to face such tragedy.” Russell added that the deaths of families attempting to get vital aid is “unconscionable.”
