Israel’s civilians earn thousands to destroy homes in Gaza

In Gaza, Israeli civilians using heavy machinery get paid as much as $9,000 every month, Middle East Eye via TheMarker reported on July 11th.

The Israeli military has demolished homes and civilian buildings across Gaza, since the beginning of the conflict in the besieged enclave, which has brought devastation to its population.

Used by both soldiers and civilians, heavy machinery has played a key part in the demolishing process. TheMarker reported on July 10th that a trained operator for heavy equipment can get paid around 1,200 shekels ($360) daily.
