Israel “deeply regrets” strike on Gaza Catholic church

The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has said that his nation “deeply regrets” that ammunition struck the only Catholic church in Gaza, causing the deaths of three people, according to the BBC on July 17th.
Gaza City’s Holy Family Church, which was struck by “stray ammunition,” according to Netanyahu, caused several people to suffer injuries.
In a statement, Netanyahu said Israel was looking into the incident which took place on July 17th and claimed his country is “committed to protecting civilians and holy sites,” despite the fact that children are losing limbs every day in Gaza due to Israeli attacks.
