Israeli soldiers arrested in Belgium over war crimes allegations

Two Israeli soldiers were arrested on July 20th in Belgium over allegations of war crimes in Gaza, after a complaint by two rights organisations, Middle East Eye reported.
According to the Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) and the Global Legal Action Network (Glan) the two soldiers were in Belgium for a music festival.
On July 21st, the groups said: “The suspects were identified and arrested with a clear show of force at the Tomorrowland festival in Boom.” The Federal Prosecutor’s Office said it had got two complaints from the two groups about “serious violations of international law” by two Israeli soldiers.
