Thousands protest in Israel urging for Gaza ceasefire

Thousands of demonstrators filled Habima Square in Tel Aviv, Israel on July 24th, urging for the Israeli government to reach a deal to halt the Gaza conflict and to free all the hostages held by Hamas, according to the BBC.
Massive crowds were seen in footage, with some holding placards to express their condemnation of the war on Gaza. Some demonstrators were dispersed by police, while some protestors were detained.
One unnamed demonstrator said that many Israeli’s are not in favour of what is happening in Gaza. He added: “I hope for the end of the war and the fall of the government.”
