The Trump administration has been the target of a lawsuit filed by the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), which has accused the US government of failing to share the financial information of a Gaza aid organisation, as covered by Maghrebi Week on August 25th.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) is an organisation that started providing food aid in south Gaza during May. Under the Freedom of Information Act, the lawsuit is calling for the disclosure of the GHF’s financial records.

According to CCR the suit “seeks records that could shed light on not only the decision-making process… but also on the creation of GHF, its funding and how it plans to use” a government grant from the US.
