Libya: early elections results come in, Dbeibah meets winners

The preliminary results of the second round of Libya’s municipal elections show a significant representation of young people and women, according to the Libya Observer on August 26th.

Prime Minister Dbeibah of Tripoli’s Government of National Unity has met with a group of winners of the second round of elections.

At their meeting Dbeibah reaffirmed his government’s commitment to decentralization and the role of the newly elected to empower local government.
