Israel’s Netanyahu ordered aid flotilla attack, report says

A drone strike on the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla in September was ordered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Middle East Eye reported on October 4th, citing CBS News.
The assault, carried out on September 8th and 9th, was reportedly launched from an Israeli submarine, according to unnamed US intelligence officials, who described it as a “deliberate and unnecessary provocation” amid efforts by US President Donald Trump to end Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
The flotilla’s organisers, who had long suspected Israeli involvement, denounced the assault as an act of “arrogance and impunity” that endangered civilians and humanitarian volunteers.
