Burkina Faso rejects deportee proposal after US Visa suspension

According to BBC Africa, Burkina Faso‘s military government has claimed on October 10th that it will not be taking any US deportees after President Donald Trump announced he would be suspending visas for the West African nation.
Foreign Minister Karamoko Jean-Marie Traoré questions the fairness of the decision asking if it was ‘blackmail’.
Several African countries including Ghana, Rwanda and South Sudan are accepting deportees, whlist those aiming for Burkina Faso have been told to go to neighbouring nation, Togo.
