Ex-UK PM Tony Blair attends Gaza Summit

The former UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, was in attendance at the Gaza Summit in Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh on October 13th, according to a report by Middle East Eye plus agencies

However, it remains unclear whether Blair will be involved in the governance of a post-war Gaza Strip, a role for which he was reportedly under consideration on September 29th.

Speaking to reporters at the Summit on October 13th, US President Donald Trump said he wanted to “find out that he [Blair] is an acceptable choice to everybody”.
