Morocco has utilised the Chiefs of United Nations Troop Contributing Countries (UNTCC) meeting in New Delhi, India, to strengthen its international military ties, according to the Moroccan government-friendly North Africa Post on October 14th.

The three-day conference, hosted by the Indian Army, has 32 UN Troop Contributing Countries with attendance by 15 Chiefs, 17 Vice Chiefs and other senior defence leaders from 7 countries.

India previously pledged to open its first overseas defence plant in Casablanca, Morocco, on September 22nd, signalling a deepening of ties between the two nations. The agreement for increased military cooperation was signed by Defence Minister Abdeltif Loudiyi and his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh.
