Researchers at Yale University have accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of committing war crimes in Sudan, according to a BBC News report on October 15th.

Yale’s School of Public Health’s Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL) claims to have reviewed satellite images that reveal the paramilitary RSF is violating international law in the besieged city of El-Fasher in North Darfur.

These alleged crimes include the deliberate targeting of civilians in drone strikes, along with the RSF-imposed siege that has caused severe food shortages and deaths from starvation.
