Moroccan finance minister endorses nation’s Israeli ties

Morocco’s Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, endorsed her country’s economic ties to Israel at a conference in Washington DC in the US, according to a report by Yabiladi on October 17th.

Alaoui was present in the Western country for the annual International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings. But she made her comments during a panel organised by the North Africa Program at the Stimson Center.

When asked about her country’s increasing economic ties to Israel, Alaoui emphasised the importance of developing “strong economic ties covering areas such as tourism, technology, and innovation.”
