Libya: Spain seized naval ships on route to commander Haftar

The Italian journal Il Foglio has revealed that 10 naval ships bound for Libya were intercepted by Spanish authorities last August, reports RFI on October 20th.
The ships, from Dubai shipyards, were to be delivered to Khalida Haftar, commander of the Libyan National Army since 2015 and de facto ruler of large parts of Eastern Libya.
Libya has been under an arms embargo since 2011, but Haftar has developed close military ties with Egypt, as well as Russia and China.
