Paris’s Louvre museum reopens after jewellery heist

The Louvre reopened for visitors on October 22 after $102 million in historical jewellery was stolen in a heist, damaging the museum’s security reputation, the National plus agencies reported.
The museum opened at its usual hour, 9 am, to allow visitors to access the galleries – apart from the Apollo Gallery, where the heist took place.
The investigation is being conducted by around 100 professionals, who are seeking information on the organised crime group, thought to be made up of four members, that broke into the museum.
