Israel and Morocco strengthen ties with transport deals
Israel and Morocco have signed transport deals to enhance their growing relationship since their 2020 signing of the US-brokered Abraham Accords, according to Middle East Eye. The agreements include allowing Israelis to use their driving licenses in Morocco, promoting direct shipping between the two countries, and sharing exchanges on road safety and transport innovation. The signing of the Abraham Accords between the two nations has resulted in increased trade, military cooperation, tourism, and the United States recognizing Morocco’s claim to the Western Sahara region.
