Algeria: Flooding kills eight swept away in vehicles
Flooding as a result of torrential rain killed eight people in western Algeria, according to AFP.
On 2nd September, eight, found dead in two vehicles, were swept away by floodwaters, the civil defence service said.
One car held two women and two men, in Tlemcen, who died when the Oued Ed-Dali river burst its banks, AFP reports.
The other four were in El Bayadh. Three women and a man died in a car, that was swept away by the Oued Chadli river.
