Biden seeks accountability after death of US citizen in West Bank

President Joe Biden said on September 11 that Israel must ensure that incidents like the fatal shooting of a Turkish-American activist never happen again, as reported by Middle East Online and agencies. 

He condemned Aysenur Ezgi Eygi’s death as “totally unacceptable.”

While Israel has taken responsibility for her death, the U.S. government expects continued access as the investigation continues.
