Libya oil exports fall as NOC cancels cargoes amid crisis
Libyan oil exports plummeted by 81% as the National Oil Corporation canceled cargoes amid a power struggle over control of the central bank and oil revenues, reported The New Arab and agencies on September 11.
The crisis began when western factions sought to oust the central bank governor, prompting eastern factions to halt oil production.
Last week, Libyan ports averaged 194,000 barrels per day, down from over 1 million bpd the previous week.
