Turkish drone manufacturer to set up facility in Morocco
Turkish drone manufacturer Baykar is set to establish a production facility in Morocco, according to Military Africa on January 30th.
Morocco is the new location for Baykar’s international production following ventures in Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and Mongolia.
Moroccan news agency Le Desk says the new facility will increase Baykar’s presence in the African drone market. Morocco is already a customer of the manufacturer, having purchased the the Bayraktar TB2 armed drones.
