New government formation on the cards for Sudan

The creation of a new Sudanese government is likely to happen after the recapture of Khartoum is done, military sources said on February 9th, a day after army head Abdel Fattah al-Burhan said he would set up a technocratic wartime government, The New Arab via Reuters reported on February 9th.
In recent weeks, the Sudanese army has got back its ground in Khartoum.
The RSF, which said it would aid the creation of a rival civilian administration has withdrawn its forces, overwhelmed by the armies expansion of air capacities and ground ranks, intensified by allied militias.
