Another Egyptian political prisoner dies due to medical negligence

65-year-old Nabil Farfour, an Egyptian political prisoner, died in prison due to alleged medical negligence, rights groups including the Shehab Centre for Human Rights reported on March 2nd according to The New Arab.

Farfour’s death marked the eighth political prisoner to die in Egypt as a result of medical negligence in the space of two months.

Various stated that Farfour was sentenced to five years in prison in case number 257 by the Alexandria Military.
