Morocco and US to strengthen relations
Morocco and the United States are strengthening ties following the return of Donald Trump to the White House, reported Atalayar on March 3rd.
During Trump’s first term relations improved with the US recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over the disputed Western Sahara region along with the normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel.
Additionally, with the retreating influence of the West in Africa, including the loss of US military bases in Niger, Morocco could play a strategic role in reinstating American influence.
