Tunisia: Student unions declare a general strike for Gaza

Student unions in Tunisia have declared a general strike on April 7^th to protest the resumption of Israeli military action in the Gaza Strip.

Reported by RFI on April 8^th, the student protests are on a scale not seen in Tunisia in months as recent bombings and genocidal actions committed in Gaza have provided the movement with a fresh impetus for mobilisation.

Israel has renewed their military action in Gaza following the collapse of the ceasefire and the death toll has been dramatically rising.
