Egypt’s ties with Tony Blair surfaces amid post-war Gaza plan
Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi’s alleged endorsement of former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair leading the post-war Gaza Strip, has drawn attention to the ex-leader’s ties to Egypt, according to Maghrebi Week on October 27th.
A source from the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) explained that Blair had previously “advised on how to handle the Muslim Brotherhood, opposition forces, and the media impact” in Egypt.
Blair reportedly has a long-standing political relationship with Egypt, as both prioritise tackling the influence of political Islam.
