Ukraine willing to start peace talks with Russia once again

Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskiy is ready once again to start peace talks with Russia under the condition not to withdraw their troops first from the battlefield which was previously demanded by Putin , according to Reuters.

Zelenskiy also stated that he would be open to meeting anywhere apart from Belarus and Russia. Earlier this month, Trump and Putin’s Budapest meeting was cancelled after Russia held to its demands of controlling Ukraine’s Donbas.

In contrary, Ukraine and Trump wanted to use the current battle fields lines as a reference for new borders, with Zelensky stating that he would be unwilling to leave any more parts of his country behind.
