Tunisia: Amnesty International condemns migration policy
Amnesty International published a new report condemning Tunisia’s treatment of migrants following multiple incidents of human rights abuses that have taken place, reports RFI on November 6th.
The human rights issues in Tunisia have been steadily deteriorating in recent months with reports of civil associations being banned and state censorship, as President Kais Saied seeks to silence opposition.
The Amnesty report also highlighted the role of the European Union, who is financing discriminatory policies in Tunisia, with no oversight.
