Israeli official denies claim Hamas members will be deported
An Israeli official has denied a report from Yedioth Ahronoth which states Israel and the US plan to remove 200 Hamas militants from war-torn Gaza, Middle East Eye and agencies reported on November 11th.
According to Anadolu Agency citing Israeli media on November 11th, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US envoy Jared Kushner had agreed that around 200 Hamas militants will be removed from south Gaza’s Rafah and instead be relocated outside all Palestinian territories.
An unnamed Israeli official, cited by Yedioth Ahronoth, said: “A settlement was reached between Netanyahu and Kushner to deport about 200 (Palestinian) fighters trapped in the Rafah tunnels.”
