Polisario Front to file new appeal challenging EU-Morocco deal
The Polisario Front is set to file a new appeal at the European Court by the end of the year, challenging the EU-Morocco agricultural and fisheries agreement, according to Maghrebi Week on December 8.
The appeal is on account of labelling Western Sahara products as being from the Moroccan region, which is a disputed territory.
The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) had previously annulled the trade agreement between the EU and Morocco in 2019, recognising Morocco and the Western Sahara as separate entities.
