Air Algérie has inaugurated a new flightpath to Gabon, more specifically from Algiers to Libreville. According to Maghrebi Week on June 22nd, the new aerial line connects Algeria to Gabon with a layover at Douala, Cameroon.

This new route positions itself within a goal to internationalise Air Algerie even more than it already is, while making deeper connections diplomatically and economically with different African countries. Along with other projects such as the trans saharan motorway, Algeria seeks to deepen its connectivity and influence throughout Africa.
