Egypt calls on Israel to pull out from Lebanon

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly urged Israel to pull out from five occupied border posts in south Lebanon, as reported by the Middle East Monitor via Anadolu Agency on November 2nd.

At a press conference in Cairo, Madbouly said: “We support Lebanon’s efforts to preserve its sovereignty.” He added that Egypt “strongly condemn[s] Israeli attacks and violations in southern Lebanon.”

Israel had previously admitted on July 29th to breaching the November 2024 ceasefire with Lebanon on hundreds of occasions.
