Libya, Mauritania and Tunisia to foster Morocco-Algeria peace
A group of Maghreb states, including Mauritania, Tunisia and Libya, have been called on to soothe the current tensions between Morocco and Algeria, Maghrebi Week and the Libya Gazette reported on December 1st.
Morocco and Algeria have been engaged in diplomatic tensions over the Western Sahara region.
The Maghrebi Dialogue Forum were reported to have requested Mauritania, Tunisia and Libya to play an active role in fostering reconciliation between the two nations.
