Death toll from RSF strikes in south Sudan rises to 79
Sudan’s foreign ministry reported on 5th December that the death toll from the Rapid Support Forces’ drone strikes on civilian infrastructure in the Kordofan region has risen to 79, including 43 children, according to a report from The New Arab plus agencies.
A statement from the ministry detailed the targets of the attack in Kalogi, which included a kindergarten, a hospital and residential areas. They added: “The militia targeted a kindergarten with rockets launched from a drone with the aim of killing a large number of children.”
The RSF are believed to have orchestrated the attacks alongside the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North, led by Abdelaziz al-Hilu.
