Rebels to enter peace talks in DR Congo

Direct peace talks are set to begin between the rebel group M23 and the DR Congo government later this month, according to France 24 on March 12th.

Angola has agreed to mediate the negotiations after Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi discussed the conflict with his Angolan counterpart Joao Lourenco.

No timeline has been announced meaning there is no confirmed deadline for negotiations.
